Princesses Gone International

Chloe: So Aunt Diane already knows that we are totally princesses.

Amber (quietly): Well, you are.

Chloe: What was that?

Amber: Nothing, darling, continue.

Chloe (glares): But thanks to her, we are now THAI Princesses!  I am filled with the desire to dance!

Amber: Of course you are.

Let's Bowl, Let's Bowl, Let's Rock and Roll

Chloe: I had SO MUCH FUN on Saturday!

I was so excited to get to wish Julianna a happy birthday and have fun with her, Joy, Cauley, and a whole bunch of new friends at the bowling alley.

I have never been bowling before, but with mad skills like these, it's no wonder that Julianna's mommy gave me a medal WITH MY NAME ENGRAVED IN IT!

Oh, how I treasure it!

See the lane with the blue-green ball knocking down pins?  Evidence of mad skills.

In between frames, the girls and I had a great time hanging out and playing games.  We ate pizza and snacks and I loved the fondant bowling pins on top of the cake.  Julianna's mommy said that if my mommy ate any of it, it would send her into early labor!  YUM.  I LOVE SUGAR.

Julianna, thank you so much for inviting me to your party!  I hope you had a great day!!

Amber: It looks fun.  I would have liked to go, but Mommy is a fascist dictator.

Chloe: Yeah, it sucks about that.

Valentine's Day with My Girls

So, yesterday, I was passing a man on the stairs and when he say my belly, he said, "Whoa."

Yeah, Happy Valentine's Day to me.

But, later, at home, when I took a picture with my three daughters for Valentine's Day, I began to suspect that he had a small point.

Whoa, indeed.  33 weeks, 2 days.

Happy Valentine's Day

Amber: This is awesome and so unexpected!

Chloe: I know - people keep giving us cards and presents (and money) and candy.

Amber: What a great way to start the day.

Chloe: There are parties later, at school, too.

Amber: Bring it!

Preggo - It's in There (Remember that Slogan?)

This is from February 1, so I was about 31.5 weeks pregnant.

Tomorrow, I will be 33 weeks and you won't believe it is possible, but I'm even bigger than I am in the picture.

I'm so large that I find it necessary to point out to everyone (including you, dear reader) that I've only gained about 7 lbs during this pregnancy... I can't figure out if that means Kyra will be 5 lbs or 10.

Either way, I just want it to be April 2nd already.

Isn't it amazing?  Nature does this on purpose - you get so uncomfortable and so miserable and so hormonally nasty that you think, "I don't care if I'm worried about money or losing my freedom or having enough patience for three kids - IT WILL HAVE TO BE BETTER WHEN I'M NOT PREGNANT ANY MORE."

Playdate with Ethan

Amber: The first part of Sunday was better than the haircut.  Ethan is totally my boyfriend.  Hands off, sister!

Amber's First Haircut

Amber: I'm not sure this is necessary and I don't trust any of you people.

Chloe: It's fine - no big deal at all!

Chloe: See?

Amber: I was promised a lollipop.
